Morrall River Films

By Mark Morrall

After over 20 years of paddling and filming our adventures, we’ve decided to form Morrall River Films. We’ve paddled many great rivers across the Midwest and Canada, but have come to the conclusion that the best paddling is right here in our own backyard: the Wisconsin/Illinois area. This is where we started our video guidebook series.

On any given weekend, rain or shine, you can find us paddling in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. We also enjoy traveling the U.S. and Canada finding new and exciting rivers to explore and share through our videos. When we aren’t paddling (usually during the winter months) we’re in the shop, building and restoring wooden canoes.

Morrall River Films is committed to producing films that we hope will benefit the paddling community. We would love to hear your suggestions and comments.

Visit our website, www.morrallriverfilms.com, where you will learn more about our RIVER TRAILS GUIDE series. Each video has a short trailer, and two-hour DVD’s (for purchase) cover topics such as suitable water levels, hazards, rapids, and access points.

Visit www.morrallriverfilms.com or go to https://www.facebook.com/MorrallRiverFilms for all the latest news of Mark’s filming and travels, including more videos and photos.

Ed: Mark has graciously donated three of his DVD’s for IPC’s annual meeting and awards ceremony as door prizes. Do keep your eyes open for more details in future issues of TIP.
